Who are the Top 20 Most Inspirational Ultra Runners for 2022?

I enjoy putting together my annual Top 20 Most Inspirational Ultra Runners of the Year. In doing my research, I always learn and relearn some things about ultra running from the past year. And this year will be no different than when I have assembled previous lists.

But I’ll hold off on even suggesting any runners who may be included in this year’s compilation. In the past, I have included the headline-grabbing elites, as well as middle- and back-of-the-packers who are just as inspiring.

For the next few weeks, I’ll be taking recommendations for this year’s list of the top 20 most inspirational ultra runners. You can email me your suggestions or hit me up on any of my social media platforms. (They are all listed at my linktree.)
